What You Need:

  1. 6 jumbo shrimps, peeled and deveined
  2. 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil
  3. 4 tablespoons of lemon juice
  4. Ground Pepper
  5. 2 ounces of pancetta
  6. A 10-ounce piece of beef tenderloin.
  7. Sea Salt
  8. Asparagus Spears
  9. 1 tablespoon of butter.

How To:

a. Take a bowl and add the shrimps, olive oil, lemon juice, some thyme, and

b. Wrap up each shrimp with pancetta.

c. Keep your broiler pre-heated and arrange the shrimp on the foil-lined broiler pan.

d. Let the beef rest after seasoning it with sea salt, pepper, and thyme.

e. Heat an ovenproof skillet over high heat and add butter.

f. When the foam subsides, sear the beef until it turns golden brown (3 minutes per side).

g. Transfer the beef to a cutting board to rest. In the meantime, boil the shrimp until the pancetta is crisp.

h. Make the Asparagus tender in the microwave (about 2 minutes).

2. Engagement Chicken Roast


Well, engagement chicken roast has always been everyone’s personal favorite when it comes down to ‘just meat’ dinners. This almost perfect recipe has everything it needs from salt to its tangy numbness. The sweet aroma of roasted chicken, when mixed with love, is more than enough to scoop your date by her/his legs.

What You Need:

  1. 4-5 pounds of chicken
  2. Ground black pepper
  3. Kosher salt
  4. 2 lemons
  5. 1 whole garlic
  6. Olive oil
  7. 2 Spanish Onions (peeled)
  8. ½ cup white wine
  9. ½ cup chicken stock
  10. 2 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
  11. Roasting pan (11-14-inch)

 How to:

a. Preheat the oven to 425 F

b. Remove all the giblets from the chicken and wash it well.

c. Pat dry the outside and liberally sprinkle salt and pepper inside the chicken.

d. Cut the lemons and place 2 quarters in the chicken along with garlic.

e. Brush the outside of chicken with olive oil and sprinkle some salt and pepper.

f. Now take a twine and tie the chicken legs and tuck in the wing tip under the chicken body.

g. Place the chicken in the roasting pan and toss the sliced onions and rest of the lemons.

h. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of pepper.

i. Roast the chicken for about 1 hour and 15 minutes until the juices run clear when you cut between a leg and thigh.

j. Remove the chicken and cover it with an aluminum foil and allow it to rest.

k. For the sauce; leave the onion and lemons in the pan. Add some white wine and stir with a wooden spoon to scrape the brown bits.

l. Now it’s time to add chicken stock and sprinkle the all-purpose flour while constantly stirring the sauce.


3. Chocolate Covered Strawberries


What more can your girl wish for when she has a combination of both of her favorite desserts right before her. We would suggest saving at least one for you earlier itself.

What You Need:

  1. 1 cup pretzel Rod
  2. 1 cup almonds
  3. 4 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate.
  4. 8 long-stemmed strawberries

How to:

a. Break down the pretzels and nuts in two bowls respectively.

b. Do the same for chocolates too

c. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler until smooth and velvety.

d. Dip the strawberries in chocolates and then in nuts.

e. Allow them to cool down to room temperature.

f. Once cooled decorate it with powdered sugar or miniature sugar candies.
