“Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get”
– H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

Most of us think that gardening is reserved only after retirement. It is a thing that is all left for one to do after my whole life of busy schedules and paper works. Blindly, we would say that you are wrong. Gardening is the most peaceful thing near to godliness. When you sit at a desk full day, there is literally something about putting your hands in the dirt, digging and creating something really beautiful as you. Most of us want to garden but when the reality strikes most of us are forced to gaze at darkness and regret. We aren’t sure whether gardening is worth spending your time or whether you are even interested in gardening.
One of the attractive things about gardening is that you can get as creative as you can. This is a canvas and you have the power to create wonders with just a magical touch. Even though they don’t much help you to get physically they play a major role in developing a person’s character and keeping their inner self-calm. Gardening has been proven to reduce stress, low blood pressure and drastically depletes depression. Through colors are textures a gardener invokes emotions of tranquility, calm and happiness. And moreover, through gardening, we are doing our duty towards the environment. You are being a medium who provides abundant amounts of habitats a home back, the home we took from them for our well-being.

Another case is where you have a massive garden but you lack those things which improve its attractiveness. The image of garden you had in mind before working on it and the one that’s in front of you doesn’t match. Creating a garden is easy said than executed. So, we plan to come up with a few suggestions and tips for you so that you can have the garden of your dreams.
Here are a few things you can try in your garden….

#1. A Fountain

Adding a pinch of water body would clearly increase your garden’s overall ratings and beauty. You can find a wide range of garden fountain in the market both online and offline. Select the design that resembles your garden theme. You must keep an account of the size of the garden as getting a larger or smaller fountain would keep them apart from the overall view of your garden.

#2. Use Ornaments

Garden ornaments aren’t a new concept for us. Using them can guide how you shape and use your outdoor space effectively. An iron gate or a rustic tree-hung lantern would clearly define you are in a place that can really offer something. Try surfing through a few on the internet and come up with ideas to spice up your garden’s mood. You could even add a gargoyle to bust away all those demons and spirits from your area.
How serene would it be if you have two deer wandering in your garden?

#3. Wind Chimes

A bit of music will never harm your garden and especially when it’s the music composed by nature. Wind chimes are always our favorite and don’t back out in installing a few of them in your backyard garden. Now let all those evening east winds sing as they glaze over your garden. You can find a variety of design in the market and make sure you grab all the colorful ones.

#4. Add the Fun Elements

Don’t forget to be creative with your garden. Add fun elements to make them more kid friendly and comfortable. A statue or flag poles or even a weathervane would help you in maintaining the fun element of your garden. Check out this rooster statue. This would be a valuable addition to your garden for no doubt….

#5. Dress Up your Garden

This is one thing everyone can do regardless of the shape and size of your garden. Adding passageways and paths pop up a sense of mystery and expansiveness in everyone’s mind. Try creepers on your gates to indicate this is strictly a green-zone. Make sure you tend them properly or else they can even backlash you by getting creepy.

This would be soo fine if you are preparing for a Halloween party though!!!
Always remember paths and passages resemble something big in our minds.

#6. Mirrors

Yes, mirrors!!! Add mirrors to your garden facing the green or woods. This would create an illusion that your garden is more spacious and denser than it meets the eye.

See for yourself and decide whether this looks cool or not!!!

#7. Lights

We would say, if you have a garden in your backyard you shouldn’t go around looking for other romantic places. Most of the landscapes look romantic after dark when under the moonlight. So, light is everything that creates the mood. Light up your garden with fairy lights wound around the trees and lanterns hung on trees. But make sure to go easy on your eyes, so use a minimal amount of lights. Highlight your decors and pathways to make your garden more approachable at night.

#8. Colored Ceramics

Considering the serenity of your garden adding a bit of artificial color won’t harm much as you think. Add a few ceramic pots to your garden to nourish with its glaze and beauty. Try to pick out the ones in different texture, colors, and designs from the massive collection available in front of you.

#9. Bird Baths

Do you recollect we mentioned by gardening you are doing your duty towards the Mother Nature? Installing a bird bath is one of the stepping stone you can take in this scenario. Bird baths not only attract birds but will also add a natural touch to your garden. Who doesn’t like a garden with butterflies and birds flying around? Be a bit generous and install a bird feeder along with the bird bath.

#10. Create a Theme

It would be always better if you start with making up your garden with a theme in mind. This will allow you to make use of the plants, landscape and all the elements of garden décor effectively and efficiently. Being creative is the main key to make your garden stand apart.

The right décor and the right flowers make a perfect garden. Likewise, a determined mind and motivated body create wonders. So, you need to put all your care and affection while gardening. Then you can find happiness when each and every sprout blooms.
